Doon Harmony Class Policy
Attendance and Punctuality
- Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes consistently to ensure steady progress.
- Punctuality: Students should arrive at least 5 minutes before the class starts to settle in and prepare.
Payment and Fees
- Course Fees: Fees must be paid between the 1st and 5th of each month. Timely payment is essential to continue attending classes.
Practice and Preparation
- Homework/Practice: Students are expected to practice regularly at home and complete all assignments given by the teacher before the next class.
- Materials: Students must bring all required materials, including instruments and books, to each lesson.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Teacher’s Cancellation: If a class is canceled by the teacher, a makeup class will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
- Student’s Cancellation: Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before cancellations. Frequent cancellations may impact progress and future scheduling flexibility.
Graded Exams
- Registration: Students wishing to take Graded exams must register by the specified deadlines.
- Preparation: It is the student’s responsibility to prepare adequately for exams, with the instructor’s guidance.
- Exam Fees and Materials: Exam fees and required books are separate from course fees and must be paid by the student.
Health and Safety
- Illness: Students who are unwell should not attend classes to prevent the spread of illness. Online classes may be arranged if feasible.
Termination of Enrollment
- By Student: Students wishing to discontinue classes must provide at least one month’s notice.
- By Academy: The academy reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment due to repeated misconduct, non-payment of fees, or consistent lack of progress/attendance.
